We’re looking for a web graphic designer who is passionate about their work and takes pride in creating beautiful and user-friendly designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of previous work, be highly creative, and have a good understanding of user experience and web standards.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with HTML/CSS and familiarity with javascript or other related software
- Web experience (a portfolio is required)
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience with SEO principles
Web Graphic Designer Duties:
- Design and layout web site graphics
- Use typography, color, and layout to convey ideas and inform users
- Develop brand identities including logos, corporate colors, and other typography
- Develop compelling web content and graphics for web sites and web applications
- Design pages, templates, and graphics for print and web
- Research, explore, and experiment with new ideas
- Oversee the creation and development of multimedia products
- Optimize content by testing, optimizing, and refining
- Communicate with project managers and clients to determine content requirements and needs
- Need to have graduated from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain website; create graphic elements and design layouts for web pages, including icon and button design
- Maintain and update website including adding and removing content and updating content with current promotions, events, or company milestones
- Work as a graphic designer for print design projects
- Research appropriate materials and methods for each project
- Maintain graphics standards; develop and implement design concepts; create original graphics
- Manage other web and marketing designers
- Assist with graphic design for print projects
- Develop and manage brand guidelines and standards
- Serve as a design resource and mentor to other designers
- Manage design projects; develop design concepts; create original graphics
- Assist with graphic design for print projects
- Research appropriate materials and methods for each project
- Maintain graphics standards; develop and implement design concepts; create original graphics
- Manage other web and marketing
