Role: Product Manager - Healthcare
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are building a ground-breaking solution in the healthcare field - specifically, for hospital operating rooms (ORs) - to drive systemic efficiencies, and improve patient experience and outcomes. We are working closely with leading hospitals in the US and in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to co-create and pilot the product.
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our small and mighty team, working under the guidance of our VP of Product. Based primarily in Abu Dhabi, you will help bring to life our vision through working with our co-creation partner in the region in a highly hands-on capacity, helping to shape and manage our overall product roadmap.
You will participate in strategic discussions, but lean toward a strong focus on delivery, user testing and feedback gathering, and prioritization. You will identify end-user and business needs and break down the work into sprints that can be shipped quickly to gain user insight. You are driven by customer insights and data to continuously improve the product. You will have a relentless focus on customer personas, needs, and user journeys, and evolve these as you learn more about the hospital operating room environment (experience in the healthcare/hospital industry is a huge plus). You will work in a lean team with engineering, design, and go-to-market collaborators who are based in the US and around the world, and frequently be on-site with our Abu Dhabi partners (you enjoy wearing scrubs).
Given the nature of our small team, you will also have the opportunity to work with company leadership to help shape overall product vision, company ways of working, commercialization efforts and customer support. We are looking for a scrappy problem-solver who is product and customer-obsessed. You will thrive in an ever-changing environment where your role provides clarity of direction and prioritization.
What You’ll Do:
- Represent the product function and drive on-site collaboration with our Abu Dhabi partner hospital - liaising with cross-functional contacts including nurses, surgeons, operations staff, IT, and executives.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to test features, plan experiments, analyze results and qualitative feedback, and help manage the product roadmap and backlog against measurable customer & business KPIs.
- Participate in strategy sessions to both further refine the product and define customer capabilities.
- Break down and prioritize work into customer-centric user stories for the development and design teams. Business test stories to stay in alignment with development.
- Build a flexible backlog grounded in customer insights to stay ahead of upcoming development needs.
- Anticipate dependencies & roadblocks impacting the roadmap (both internal and external), and proactively seek to resolve them.
- Participate in and eventually lead product ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, release notes) to support rapid development.
- Swarm on design needs, questions, and iterations with the development team as needed.
- Work well in a lean, highly collaborative team of developers & designers.
- Work with product leadership to consider “the art of the possible” under new modalities (e.g., smart watches, IoT devices, custom hardware & experiences).
What You’ll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3-5 years of experience executing product roadmaps in a startup or other technology/digital product company.
- An understanding of user-centered design, customer research, and agile methodologies.
- Ability to manage stakeholders to drive direction and execution.
- Experience with user-centered design principles, processes, and techniques.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-moving, remote environment where collaboration, communication, and ownership are key.
- Ability to locate in or relocate to Abu Dhabi full-time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare / hospital industry experience.
- Product experience in conversational AI/voice, IoT, or multi-modal (audio-visual) experiences.
Currently, we are working remotely. Most of our team is based in the US, but with some team members across Europe/MENA regions.
