Job Duties:
- Welcome and guide guests to their tables with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and furnish detailed information upon request, addressing queries about portions, ingredients, or potential allergens.
- Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses in preparation for service.
- Inform customers about daily specials and offer menu recommendations as needed.
- Skillfully suggest additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Take precise food and drink orders using POS software, order slips, or memorization.
- Transmit order details to the Kitchen Staff for preparation.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation, promptly reporting any issues.
- Arrange table settings and uphold a neat dining area.
- Present bills, collect payments, and ensure a smooth check-out process.
- Clear tables of used plates, glasses, and silverware, transporting them to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Confer with restaurant staff to discuss daily specials, menu changes, and reservation details.
- Adhere to all pertinent health department regulations.
- Provide exemplary customer service to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a Waiter or Waitress.
Proficiency with cash registers and ordering systems.
Basic math skills.
Attentiveness and patience in dealing with customers.
Strong presentation skills.
