The Role
The selected person should be able to independently manage the operations of rice and/or oil meal trade and work as a profit centre, which essentially includes among others the following: • Identify, develop and cultivate suppliers and buyers of Rice and Oil Meal and negotiate favorable terms for purchase and sale contracts • Knowledge of sellers’ and buyers’ contracts and must have experience in containerized shipment of physical commodity and its documentation. • Assess and manage the financial, operational, and market risks associated with commodity trading • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key industry players, including suppliers, customers, brokers, and financial institutions. • Stay informed about relevant regulations, sanctions, and compliance requirements in the commodity trading. • Maintain communication with logistics department to ensure deadlines are met • Periodic sharing of information about the shipments with top management and buyers and troubleshoot any issue on a proactive basis. • Keep abreast of market trends, carry out market analysis and develop growth strategies • Prepare reports for performance review on a quarterly basis, identify gaps and action plan to bridge them.

Qualifications: • Graduate / Post-graduate with at least 10 years of work experience in exports of Rice, Oil meal, with trading globally in the area of soft commodities, having excellent contacts with overseas buyers and possessing good knowledge about the sourcing of these products from India as well as other countries. • Must have a track record of successful grains and oil meal trading with global customers • Immediate joiners will be prioritized Key Demographic Requirements - applicants must be: • Based in UAE/ India • Age: 35– 40 years • Minimum Experience: 10 years
